Our promise

OFW is committed to the highest standards of quality, honesty, integrity, openness and accountability.

Our promise

OFW is committed to the highest standards of quality, honesty, integrity, openness and accountability.

In addition, we encourage employees, volunteers and outside parties with serious concerns to come forward to express those concerns. Whistle-blowers raising concerns in good faith can do so without fear of reprisal or victimisation.

The Whistleblowing Policy is intended to provide a channel for a report to be made in good faith and in confidence of a possible misconduct or wrongdoing. Examples of such acts include:

  1. Financial fraud and malpractice
  2. Unauthorised use of funds
  3. Corruption
  4. Unlawful acts which violate laws on Anti Money Laundering (AML), PDPA etc.
  5. A person abusing his/her position for any unauthorised use or for personal gain
  6. Non-adherence to major control policies (for example, removal of assets without proper approval)
  7. Threats to health or safety of employees, volunteers and/or the public
  8. Deliberately concealing information tending to show any of the above

All responses are confidential and your identity will be kept confidential throughout the course of investigations. If necessary or lawful circumstances dictate the disclosure of the whistle-blower’s identity, OFW must seek the whistle-blower’s consent before disclosure. OFW strictly prohibits retaliation, harassment, or adverse treatment against any volunteer who raises a concern or participates in an investigation in good faith.
