RENEW Playbooks

Detailed ministry-specific guides to effecting change, and case studies of various churches to inspire action.

About the Playbooks

The Playbooks aim to serve as guides for churches in Singapore to act on our mandate to care for creation as a part of God’s mission.

It is written for Singapore by Singaporeans, providing actions and instructions that are practical, contextualised, faith-based and expert-validated.

All of us have been called to be good stewards of creation and the responsibility to care should go beyond a select committee or ministry. Therefore, the Playbooks reflect a holistic way in which creation care can be lived out in various parts of church life. We have also structured the Playbooks in a way that anyone—laity or clergy, creation care ministry or not—can take it and run with it, in your various capacities and ministries.

This resource is intended for both top-down and ground-up approaches: Pastors and church leaders may pass this to specific ministry leaders, and those starting ground-up initiatives in your church may use this to inform your actions and share it easily with your leadership.
